The 4Living Biotech team had the opportunity to share its research at the symposium organized by the Société de Réanimation de Langue Française (SRLF), held from March 13 to 14, 2025, at the Institut de Psychiatrie et de Neurosciences de Paris.
Valentine Chéron, a PhD student, presented a poster entitled: “Effect of a CXCR4 antagonist on NETosis development during Influenza A virus infection.”
The objective of this study is to highlight a novel therapeutic lever against acute respiratory infections by targeting a specific mechanism responsible for excessive immune responses. This research opens new perspectives to better understand and treat inflammatory complications associated with viral infections.
Jérôme Breton, Head of Infectious Diseases, delivered an oral presentation on “Stratification of ARDS patients: toward a targeted management approach.”
This approach aims to refine the clinical management of patients suffering from Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome(ARDS). More precise stratification could enable personalized treatments and improve patient outcomes in intensive care settings.
A sincere thank you to the research teams, partner institutions, and organizers of this scientific event. These exchanges are essential to advancing medicine and therapeutic strategies.
